Job OverviewWhole Foods Market is seeking a highly skilled Meat Associate Team Leader to join our team.Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Team Leader in all aspects of daily operations, including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects.
• Lead and Develop Team Members to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Analyze Sales and Reports to inform business decisions and drive growth.
• Manage Inventory and Ordering to ensure efficient operations.
• Resolve Team Concerns and maintain a positive work environment.
• Assume Departmental Responsibility in the absence of the Team Leader.
• Set Retail Execution Standards and foster a culture of outstanding teamwork and morale.
• Maintain Customer Satisfaction by directing Team Members and responding to customer needs.Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of meat products and regulatory policies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
  • Proven leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and operations-related applications.Experience
    • 18+ months retail/meat/culinary Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.Physical Requirements
      • Lifting 50 pounds.
      • Standing/walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.
      • Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
      • Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
      • Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
      • Exposure to temperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
      • Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
