• Required for various units such as ER, Trauma, Telemetry, ICU, OR, PACU.
• Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, EFM, Tech Cert Verification - National.
  • Job Details
  • 29 bed Stepdown Unit - not Tele or ICU; ideal candidate is ICU RN that would care for S/D pts - unit is more like IMCU. Tele and Stepdown pts. NP Ratio 1:3; Days; EVERY OTHER WEEKEND; Holidays (if needed); Must be willing to float to other Tele floors as needed.
  • Two years recent Stepdown experience (within last 3 years) required. Heavy pt load - pts are total care, unit operates like being in ICU just no vents. Skills: Airway Management, Management of Dysrhythmias, Central Line Management, IV Drips, Isolation precautions, Interpretation of ABGs, Management of pts w multisystem organ dysfunction/failure. Cerner experience.
  • Degree must be from an accredited school OR have a degree from an institution that is approved by FBON in addition to having 2 yrs recent acute care experience - experience must be consecutive within the past 24 months in a US hospital, per facility requirements.
    • Job Requirements
    • Active FL/Compact license.
    • ACLS & BLS required via AHA.
    • NIH required.
    • Experienced nurses must have 2 years minimum experience and minimum 80 hour critical care course OR 5 years experience in acute care ICU.
    • Must have Epic experience.

      • Days; EVERY OTHER WEEKEND; Holidays (if needed)
        • Unit Specific Information
        • 29 bed Stepdown Unit - similar to IMCU.
          • Additional Details
          • Locals considered - 60 mile Radius Rule
          • Government issued photo ID required. Photo Identification must be carried on person during hours of service to client.
