Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Director, UM and BH (Part
Time), Remote.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the interdisciplinary
Medical Management team
Develop and implement a Utilization Management program to ensure
high-quality patient care
Maintain compliance with accreditation standards and manage the
appeals process
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or
Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree
Unrestricted current and valid medical license in a state or
territory of the United States
Minimum of three years of substantial direct patient care
experience
Completion of a residency program approved by the Accreditation
Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)
Experience in cost-benefit analysis and quality assurance processes
preferred
