Job Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain Store Layout: Create and maintain visually appealing store layouts and product displays that showcase our products and enhance the shopping experience.
• Drive Sales and Purchasing: Collaborate with the Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets, ensuring the department meets or exceeds its goals.
• Analysis and Reporting: Assist the Team Leader in analyzing sales reports, labor data, and other key performance indicators to inform business decisions and drive improvement.
• Product Knowledge and Awareness: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products, including new and seasonal offerings, to provide exceptional customer service and make informed purchasing decisions.
• Vendor Relationships: Foster strong relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
• Team Leadership and Development: Work with the Team Leader to resolve team concerns, provide coaching and feedback, and develop a positive and inclusive team culture.
• Departmental Leadership: Function as the point person and departmental leader in the absence of the Team Leader, ensuring seamless operations and making key decisions as needed.
• Retail Execution: Set and achieve the highest standards of retail execution, including maintaining a clean and organized store environment, ensuring accurate inventory management, and providing exceptional customer service.
• Team Morale and Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, recognizing and rewarding team members for their contributions and achievements.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer needs and questions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.Job Skills

    • Leadership Experience: 6+ months of supervisory experience, with a proven track record of leading teams and achieving results.
    • Retail Experience: 18+ months of retail experience, with a strong understanding of retail operations, customer service, and sales strategies.Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
      • Lifting and Mobility: Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday.
      • Hand Use and Dexterity: Ability to use hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
      • Motion and Physical Activity: Ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach, with exposure to temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
      • Environmental Factors: Ability to work in a wet and cold environment, with exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
      • Schedule and Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
