Job Description:

A well-rounded and seasoned Cook II will be an integral member of the team creating distinctively different and authentic culinary experiences for guests. Reporting to the Sous Chef, this high-volume position requires a passion for culinary arts and a service-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities include:

• 
  
• Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others.
  
• Preparing special meals or substitute items.
  
• Assisting with stocking and setting up each station.
  
• Training new staff members in preparation methods.
  
• Modeling company standards of excellence and job execution.
  
• Working clean and organized, maintaining a clean workspace.
  
• Communicating with colleagues and performing in the kitchen.
  
• Regulating oven temperature and ensuring proper food preparation.
  
• Maintaining food logs and monitoring food quality.
  
• Communicating assistance needs during busy periods.
  
• Informing Chef of excess food items and menu specials.
  
• Ensuring food quality and knowledge of cooking methods.
  
• Operating kitchen equipment and maintaining accepted standards of sanitation.
  
• Utilizing basic mathematical skills for recipes and portion sizes.
  
• Preparing and cooking food according to recipes and quality standards.
  
  
  Additional responsibilities include adhering to departmental policies, assisting with hiring and training, and following company and safety policies.
  
  The role requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, reaching, lifting, and performing other reasonable job duties.
