**About the Position**
We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Host to join the team at Carbone Vino, a new upscale restaurant concept from Major Food Group. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities

• 
  
• Welcoming guests, presenting menus, and informing them of daily specials and promotions.
  
• Treating all guests with exceptional courtesy and respect, ensuring their complete satisfaction.
  
• Managing the waiting list, floor plan, and table assignments with efficiency and accuracy.
  
• Observing tables, tracking cleanliness, and maintaining a high level of organization.
  
• Communicating wait times effectively and providing guests with accurate information.
  
• Cleaning and restocking the host area, maintaining a clean and inviting environment.
  
• Answering phone calls and responding to questions about the menu and restaurant.
  
• Providing exceptional service to guests as they arrive and depart, ensuring a positive experience.
  
• Performing other duties as directed by management.
  
  
  Requirements
  
  • 
    
  • Experience in high-volume, upscale restaurants preferred but not required.
    
  • Previous customer service experience strongly preferred.
    
  • Possesses and exhibits a drive to provide exceptional service.
    
  • Available to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
    
  • Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours, bend, push, pull, and lift 30 pounds.
    
  • Proficiency or ability to learn computer skills, including POS systems, OpenTable, Word, and Excel.
    
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
