Job Description:
The Front- End Mortgage Loan Processor will be responsible for
performing a variety of loan documentation duties on complex loan
packages and ensure compliance with policies and procedures for
loan products. Candidates must possess a strong sense of urgency
with an ability to work in a team environment, maintaining
excellent organizational, communication, and PC skills.
This position will be subject to SAFE ACT registration
requirements. Pursuant to the SAFE Act requirements, all applicants
for employment who will be engaged in residential mortgage
originations (as defined by the SAFE Act) must register with the
federal registry system and maintain a status in good standing. If
newly hired, would be required to complete test cases for SASE 2
within 6 months. Failure to register successfully or to maintain a
status in good standing under the SAFE Act will affect eligibility
for continued employment and may result in immediate
termination.
Essential Job Functions/Requirements:
? Manage an assigned pipeline of 50 plus loans on a daily and
weekly basis
? Process loans approved by an Underwriter or an automated
decisioning systems
? A minimum of 12 months, in the past 3 years, entering ALL loan
data elements in to a lending operating system (e.g., Edge, MLCS,
etc.) AND then generating one of the following: CLUES, CLOUT, LP,
DU.
? A minimum of 12 months, in the past 3 years, validating AND
reconciling ALL of the following AGAINST ONE ANOTHER to ensure
constancy AND accuracy: operating system, AUS (clues-clout-DU-LP),
1003, Credit Report.
? Maintain daily workflow prioritization to ensure pipeline
management meets required closing dates
? Order all required verifications, documentation and subsequent
follow-ups and ensures all timeframes and compliance requirements
are being met
? A minimum of 36 months, in the past 5 years, experience
calculating ALL of the following: Paystub, W2s, Bonus-Commission,
passive (Alimony-Child Support), Rental Income.
? A minimum of 36 months, in the past 5 years, experience reviewing
AND validating ALL of the following: Title, HOI, and Basic
Appraisal.
? A minimum of 36 months, in the past 5 years, experience reviewing
AND validating ALL of the following: Credit report comparison to
AUS liabilities AND 1003 liabilities, INCLUDING review for
undisclosed obligations.
? A minimum of 36 months, in the past 5 years, experience reviewing
AND validating ALL of the following: Asset Statement for large
deposits AND reoccurring liabilities AND undisclosed
liabilities.
? Credit signing authority within delegated limits
