About My Client: My client is a premier Commercial General Contractor based in Miami, specializing in large-scale, ground-up high-rise projects including multi-use developments, multi-family residential, hotels, and commercial offices. With a strong portfolio of successfully completed projects and a commitment to excellence, they are looking for a skilled Senior Estimator to join their team and contribute to their continued growth and success.
Position Overview: The Senior Estimator will play a pivotal role in leading the estimating process for complex, high-rise construction projects. This individual will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing bid proposals, and collaborating closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and has a deep understanding of construction costs and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the estimation process for large-scale ground-up high-rise projects, including multi-use, multi-family, hotel, and office developments.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Develop and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and identify value-engineering opportunities.
• Prepare bid proposals and participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client presentations.
• Review project requirements and collaborate with the project management team to ensure alignment on cost assumptions and project scope.
• Evaluate project risk factors and propose solutions to mitigate cost overruns and schedule delays.
• Maintain historical cost data and utilize estimating software to improve the accuracy of future estimates.
• Stay informed on industry trends, construction technologies, and market conditions.
  Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience as an Estimator, preferably with a focus on high-rise or large-scale commercial projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully estimating and securing high-rise projects with budgets exceeding $20 million.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, PlanSwift) and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
