Public Relations Assistant and Junior Social Media Manager

The public relations assistant and junior social media manager will work with the public relations team to ensure smooth running of the division in daily tasks and as it relates to all the Public Relations at this stable and growing company in Doral.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor?s degree in public relations, communications or journalism. The candidate should have strong writing, research and organization skills, be willing to adjust to a variety of temperaments and personalities and be willing to go above and beyond the call of duty in order to complete a project accurately and on time.

Duties:

The public relations assistant and junior social media manager will work closely with account coordinators and managers to produce basic production and detail work required for various accounts. This includes, but is not limited to the following:

? research

? maintenance and creation of media lists and editorial calendars

? database management

? PowerPoint presentations

? maintenance of photo files

? press kit assembly and distribution

? production supervision

? job trafficking

? general administrative duties (Shipping samples, filing, copying, phone calls)

The role will include research via web based tools as well as collating and analyzing data into deliverable strategic reports.

Must be passionate about social media, driven and have the ability to "think outside the box" in the planning of potential marketing strategies and tactics.

Key competencies :

?Some marketing, social media, brand management background ideally in the food and beverages industry

?Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in Native Language and in English

?Strong analytical skills and the ability to multitask and work independently using own initiative

?Have a thirst for exploring new technologies, which can be used to add value to existing and new communities

?Ability to work collaboratively with all teams internally and externally to develop ideas, build connection plans and execute communications in various social media channels
